1. Go to the Fuller library database page: https://infoguides.fuller.edu/az.php

2. Select ATLA with ATLAS (periodicals), the American Theological Library Association database.

3. Select tab Scriptures located at the top navigation menu next to the tab New Search.

You will see an Hierarchical Scripture Index where books of the Bible are listed in Canonical Order.

4. Select a book title and chapter that you're looking for.

5. To narrow results, expand the chapter to a verse index and click on it.

6. The selected part of the scripture index will be brought up into the search box as SR "Book title Chapter: Verse" and the search results will be displayed. SR stands for the (Expanded) Scripture Reference.

7. Browse, evaluate them and save the references.

8. To limit your search further, use the search menu options on the left side of the results page.

Alternatively, you can search using a Bible Citation index also available on ATLA.

The ATLA video tutorial  "Three Methods to Search for Biblical Scripture Citations" covers different ways to search for scripture citations in the Bible using ATLA’s Scripture Search function, Bible Citation Index, and the Scripture Citation search field.
