What is the Writing Center?
The Writing Center is available to provide resources and guidance for students of all levels and programs in every stage of the writing process. The Center normally offers writing consultation services online and in-person.

Please note: The Writing Center does not edit student work. Instead of making substantial edits, writing consultants will indicate every opportunity for improvement in a paper, including improvements in spelling, punctuation, sentence and paragraph structure, and general clarity. Students should plan additional time after their Writing Center consultation to make their own edits, taking Writing Center advice into account.

Where is the Writing Center located?
The Writing Center is located on the first floor of the Hubbard Library in Pasadena, room 115.

What are the Center's hours and contact Info?
The Writing Center normally operates Monday- Friday, 9 am-5 pm. Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
