Accessing electronic resources:
The Fuller Library purchases individual ebooks or subscription packages that include ebooks, articles, and journals. Purchased resources are hosted on vendor platforms (ProQuest, EBSCO, JSTOR, etc).
Vendor platforms know that Fuller Seminary has approved access, but they need to "see" student computers as approved Fuller computers.
The Fuller ID login works as the authentication tool and activates a successful connection.
The Goal for a Faculty Syllabus:
Providing a consistent link that successfully triggers the Fuller authentication system so students can access the resource reliably.
The Goal for Student Papers:
Providing a consistent link that readers can use to find the cited resource.
Permalinks on WorldCat Library Catalog:
The WorldCat Library Catalog has a "Share" button that will generate a permalink that can be sent or copied into a syllabus.
