The David Allan Hubbard Library is a private library that primarily serves Fuller students, faculty, staff, other members of the immediate Fuller community (e.g. alumni). However, we do also serve the graduate theological academic community through consortial partnerships and the broader public through interlibrary loan services.
These programs allow affiliated institutions and the broader public to borrow select materials from the Fuller Library.
Consortia
We are part of the Southern California Theological Library Association (SCATLA), the American Theological Library Association, and the Statewide California Electronic Library Consortium. These organizations have reciprocal borrowing programs that some member institutions participate in.
You can use the links above to check if your instituion is part of these associations, and if they participate in any reciprocal borrowing program. If so, please speak with your school librarian about any necessary documentation (e.g. application forms and ID), and bring them with you to the front desk at the Fuller Library. Our circulation staff will help you establish a library account.
Borrowing limits may vary by instituion and are set to reciprocate the borrowing access afforded Fuller students at the affiliated school.
Interlibrary Loan
The Fuller Library fully participates in institutional interlibrary loan programs for all circulating library materials (see "books that can circulate" box). Please talk to your institutional school librarian or local public librarian about requesting a Fuller library item through interlibrary loan.
Note that eBooks and other electronic resources cannot be loaned out, and that materials will need to be physically received at the requesting library.
Contact Information
An overview of all of our access policies can be viewed online. If you have any specific additional questions please email us at lib-info@fuller.edu or call the circulation desk at 626.584.5618. We would be happy to assist you!
