Yes! Submit your request online if you would like to be able to pick up your storage (closed stack) book or periodical at the circulation desk without waiting. Your requested item will normally be available at the circulation desk in about an hour.
This form is also used to request most print journal holdings (except current periodicals).
Ordinarily you can request this form by:
1. Signing into your library account
2. At the bottom of the page (under "Resources") select the "Closed Stacks Request" link.
3. Please fill out the form with all of the requested citation information. (Call number, Author, short title, volume, etc.) You can use the form to make up to three requests at a time.
Once your book has been retrieved, it will be held at the front desk for up to ten days before being re-shelved. If you will not be able to retrieve your book in that time frame please wait to submit your request.
