The Pasadena campus has two main dining options: the campus refectory and Ambrose Cafe.
Located on the first floor of Payton Hall, the refectory is open Monday through Friday 7am to 2pm and offers daily lunch specials. The refectory serves entrees, sides, salads, sandwiches, and grill items, along with snacks and drinks. Meal prices range from $5 to $10.
Located on the corner of Oakland and Walnut (diagonally across form the psychology building), Ambrose Cafe is open Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm and 8am to 3pm on Saturday. Ambrose offers full service espresso beverages (Cappuccinos, Americanos, etc.), coffee, tea, smoothies, and other specialty drinks. They also offer sandwiches, baked goods, and snacks.
Ambrose Cafe Cart:
Located in the Peggy Helmerich Learning Commons (front Lobby) of Fuller's Hubbard Library, Ambrose offers the same high quality beverages and snacks directly in the library! Please note: Cash only. Some food options may only be available at the full Ambrose Cafe.
Eating in the Library:
Patrons are welcome to eat food purchased at the Ambrose Cafe Cart (or brought from outside) at the tables, chairs, and sofas in the Peggy Helmerich Learning Commons (front lobby) and on the third floor balcony. We kindly ask that patrons refrain from eating (or consuming open topped beverages) at the tables in other areas of the library, including the De Pree reading room and the Weyerhaeuser reading room on the first floor.
